Antenna Rotator System - RCI Boards
The RCI Board, is a small PCB (12,5cm x 8cm) that will be conected
between the Control Unit, the Rotor Unit, and a LPT port on the computer
Two boards are availables:
Main board
or RCI:
- This board is the basic option that let handle the Azimuth rotator. There
are several relays available
- Left turn
- Right turn
- AUX, usefull for those rotors that include a Brake or Speed
control.
- 2 * 8 bits ADC. (10 & 12 bits ADC resolution optionally)
- 1 interface with the LPT Port.
Daughter
Board or RCI-EL:
- This second board it's necesary for those who want to use an elevation
rotator too. It's conected to the main board, and it has 2 optional relays.
In this way, the combination of RCI+RCI-EL, will let you control 2 rotators:
Azimuth and Elevation.
Specifications:
- Each relay has 2 circuits (5A/220V).
- Input voltage: between 12-14V
- Current: stand-by mode less than 60mA and when relays energized less
than 200mA
- 2 A/D conversors (8, 10 or 12 bits )
- DB-25F conector for attaching to the parallel port on the PC.
